Current Plant Highlights

Savannah's transforming horticultural destination, the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens at the Historic Bamboo Farm is 51 acres of historic plants, ornamental gardens, lakes, early 20th-century buildings and modern pick-your-own berry fields. Once a USDA plant introduction station, today we are becoming a complete botanical garden: a horticultural showplace for residents and visitors to Georgia's Coastal Empire and the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Garden / Plant Highlights

It's late autumn in coastal Georgia. What's in flower or is at its foliage peak depends on our weather regime. Fall foliage color occurs mainly in mid-November into December.
