Savannah's transforming horticultural destination, the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens at the Historic Bamboo Farm is 51 acres of historic plants, ornamental gardens, lakes, early 20th-century buildings and modern pick-your-own berry fields. Once a USDA plant introduction station, today we are becoming a complete botanical garden: a horticultural showplace for residents and visitors to Georgia's Coastal Empire and the South Carolina Lowcountry.

***Rainy weather disrupts our electric illuminated displays. Moderate to heavy rains (not drizzle or spotty showers) will cause the cancellation of Holiday Lights for that evening. Call 921-5460 in the late afternoon (after 3:45 pm) to learn if the day's weather is causing any schedule changes.
Our Fall Semester of classes and workshops began in September and continued through December, culminating with a Citrus-Tasting Social. Look for Spring Semester 2015 course listings in January.Policy Updates
